SUMMARY:CIR "Cold in Place Recycle" Lunch & Learn with Coughlin Company
DESCRIPTION:Coughlin Company is hosting a CIR Train Lunch and Learn on their US-50 project just east of Scipio\, Thursday\, June 18th at starting 11:30. Lunch included. They have a laydown yard where we can all gather and have lunch\, talk about the job and then carpool out to the CIR train. The location of the yard is off exit 188 just east of I-15\, between the freeway and the 76 gas station. We have our lime and oil tanks there and other equipment. You can't miss it.Cold In-Place Recycling (CIR) is an eco-friendly roadway rehabilitation technique that removes\, crushes\, and rejuvenates existing asphalt without applying heat. Using a continuous train of heavy machinery\, the process mills the top 3 to 5 inches of distressed asphalt\, mixes the milled material with liquid additives\, and lays it back down.
