Welcome to UAPA!

We’re excited that you’ve decided to join the Utah Asphalt Pavement Association. To ensure you receive the appropriate membership benefits and pricing, please follow the instructions below to complete your membership application.

1. Select Your Membership Level

Please review the membership options below and select the one that best fits your organization:

SPECIAL NOTE:
If you are a municipality or county, you will need to select your city or county’s population size, as it affects your membership fees. The population categories are:

Under 25,000 Population

Over 25,000 Population

2. Provide Information and Submit Your Application

Please ensure that you provide all required information on the application form. Certain details are required to process your membership, while others are optional, but the more information you provide, the better we can tailor your membership experience. Once you’ve completed the form, please submit it. You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging the receipt of your application.

3. UAPA Board Review and Approval

After receiving your application, the UAPA Board will review it. We will notify you once your membership has been approved and provide you with next steps on how to fully take advantage of your UAPA membership.

4. Next Steps

Once your membership request is approved by the Board, you will receive:

  • A welcome package with details about UAPA events and benefits.
  • Information on upcoming conferences, regional training sessions, and courses offering Professional Engineer (PE) and Continuing Education (CE) credits.
  • Instructions on accessing member-exclusive pricing for UAPA events.
  • Invitations to networking opportunities and other member-only activities.

Producer Membership is any person, firm, joint venture, corporation or entity who or which is capable of manufacturing, producing or supplying hot mix asphalt mixtures in the State of Utah.

Producer Membership annual dues are based on the tonnage sold in the previous calendar year and then can be prorated based on the month that membership is approved.


Supplier Membership is any person, firm, joint venture, corporation or entity who or which is capable of producing and/or supplying (PG graded) asphalt binder products in the State of Utah.

Supplier Membership Annual Dues = $12,000.00

Associate Member is any person, firm, partnership, joint venture, corporation or entity who or which provides service equipment, contractors, material suppliers, emulsions suppliers, transportation services, consulting engineering firms, testing labs, sub contractors or other services as determined by the Board of Trustees to the asphalt pavement and maintenance industry in the State of Utah.

Associate Membership Annual Dues = $1,200.00

Affiliate Membership is any person, firm, joint venture, corporation or entity who or which is engaged in the asphalt industry who or which is ineligible for Producer, Supplier or Associate membership status.

Affiliate Membership Annual Dues = $650.00

County Membership is for counties who are a government agency in the State of Utah.  

County Membership Associations Annual Dues are determined by counties population:

 Population less than 25,000 = $250.00

 Population more than 25,000 = $500.00

Municipality Membership is for city or towns who are a government agency in the State of Utah.  

Municipality Membership Association Annual Dues are determined by municipalities population:

 Population less than 25,000 = $250.00

 Population more than 25,000 = $500.00

Higher Education Membership is for universities, colleges, and trade schools who serve students over 18 years old. 

Higher Education Associations Annual Dues: $.00

Industry Membership is for anyone that isn't a producer, supplier, associate or affiliate member.  This membership type includes Department of Transportation (UDOT, others).

Industry Membership Annual Dues = $.00 or an agreed upon amount (i.e. DOTs, etc).  


National/State Association Membership is for national and state associations which deal with asphalt, horizontal or civil construction.

National/State Associations Membership Annual Dues: $.00


Secondary Education Membership is for high schools that work with kids between 11-18 years old. 

Secondary Education Associations Annual Dues: $.00
